Phoenix Tattoo and Wellness has been a cornerstone of the Cranston, Rhode Island tattoo community since 2014. Hello, Im Kristen. I am an artist, mom, and an amateur philosopher. What started as a love for drawing horses, unicorns and anything fantasy, has evolved into a lifelong passion for visual expression. Over the years, my artistic journey has led me from pencil sketches to acrylic painting, to graphic design, and eventually to tattooing. I have been heavily influenced by pop, horror, and tattoo culture as well as artists such as M.C. Escher, Frank Frazetta, and Salvador Dalí. Kristen tributes her dark style to a early fascination with Edgar Allan Poe. I founded Breaking Point in July of 2024. Born from the ashes of my burned-out corporate career; this creative brand is my attempt to live authentically. I sell original pieces of dark/macabre artwork, as well as art prints and apparel. I play with themes of mental health, the occult, metaphysics, mythology, and philosophy.
